HOW TO COOK A PERFECT ROAST BEEF

1 x beef rump roast, netted, approx 2-3kg



Roast beef is one of the best classic Meade dinners that makes you feel great in every cut

How long does it take to cook roast beef?

The cooking time depends on the weight of the meat. To cook it characteristically, put it in 15-20 minutes per 500 grams of meat.  Li Shui is average, apply it 20-25 minutes per 500 grams of 


Method of preparation 


The first step

we turn on the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place the beef on a rack in the grill pan. Put a little water on the bottom of the bowl so that no juice burns during grilling. If you have a meat thermometer that you leave in the oven, insert it into the thick part of the barbecue.

Step two

grill for the estimated time as shown below, spreading the juices throughout the grilling period. When the water evaporates, add more to the bowl.

Step three 

check the internal temperature of the barbecue using a thermometer to meat the barbecue is cooked for:

It is rare when the temperature reaches 45-50 degrees Celsius

Medium when the temperature reaches 60-65 degrees Celsius

Well done at 70-75 degrees Celsius.

Alternatively, you can make a test to see if the roast is cooked to your liking by performing a pressure test - using a pair of pliers, squeeze the beef. Rare feels soft, and the medium has little resistance; well done looks very firm. It is better not to insert a skewer when testing to see if the meat is cooked because it allows the juices, which keep the meat tender and tasty, to escape

Step four

 remove the barbecue from the bowl and wrap the barbecue loosely in aluminum foil. Leave to rest for 15-20 minutes before sculpting. This allows the juices to settle. Well-tempered meat will not lose any juice on the plate.

Step five

in order to get the most tender steaks, cut the grilled meat across the grain. Holding the barbecue with tongs instead of a fork will prevent juices from leaking out. Served with grilled vegetables and homemade sauce
